Some pictures that Nina took

Hottest day of the year
Yesterday after work I took the hot dog down to Pleasure Bay (or "The Sugar Bowl", as Jason at the laundromat calls it).

It was beb central down there (or at least bebs with dads in fake Jordans central) and they all wanted to terrorize poor Miss Eloise.

Also, I saw a guy* riding his bike on the boardwalk with a dachshund RIDING ON HIS SHOULDERS.

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture. Hopefully he'll be down there again sometime...
(Side note: I saw a bum wearing these outside of the laundromat today.

Upon comment, he said, "They only made two pairs of them!" Again, it would be better if I had a picture.)
*With homemade Southie tattoos and a smirk.

Puppers likes ice cream!
Last night we had a picnic at Amory Park with Nina, CC, Eric Yu, and two of Nina's friends. Afterwards we went to Herrell's for treats and they gave Miss Eloise some free ice cream...she went nuts on that thing.

w00t for pups
Sunday, May 27, 2007
Hello!
After a long hiatus, My Schmood is a Pups is back!
This is because I found an apartment to move into, so I actually have made some progress on the pup front.
It's in South Boston in Andrew Square

It's a half mile from my job, and walking distance to Carson Beach,

so there will be lots of this going on this summer:

Maybe some of this:

And maybe even a little of this:

It's also very conveniently located for driving.

Updates to follow!

These are the pups I know, I know (And Christina Knows)
Here is my cousin Phoebe's French bulldog, Guiness:

He is always eating my mom's glasses.

Or some dog ice cream.

Or just being terrorized by the children upstairs.
This is Christina's aunt's Corgi, Maddie:

And her other aunt's Scottie, Radley:

And Christina's Beagle, Rusty. He is scared of thunderstorms and gets acupuncture (not for his fear of thunderstorms):

Tabbed Browsing
So, a couple of years ago I got a new computer.
Safari is kind of a bummer. Alot of pages don't work that well with it, including the Partners Healthcare Career Center site, which I have been using to apply for jobs for approximately the last 4 months. So I could only apply to jobs on other people's computers. Which, as you can imagine, was not terribly convenient.
Also, the bookmarks are set up really badly.
However, true to form, I never got around to downloading a different browser, despite the fact that this takes approximately 1 minute to do.
Anyway, today I finally downloaded Mozilla Firefox, and so far I am very pleased with the world of tabbed browsing.
This doesn't really have anything to do with pups, so here are some real-life firefoxes:
And some treats from today's Daily Puppy(it's not a dachshund, but I couldn't resist):
And one for Springtime:
Speaking of treats...
I looked for some vegan recipes to make for Barrow's dog when they come over for brunch (Barrow? Are you reading this?)
The Yummy for Dogs site has some tasty looking treats.
The Woofer Waffles,
Pupcakes,
Terrier Tea Cakes,
I'm sure Mr. TJRB wouldn't mind if I just gave him some scrambled eggs.
*So actually I mostly just like their names. And the name Yummy for Dogs. But the Woofer Waffles ARE appropriate for brunch.
