These guys were taking a walk over to the grocery store.

We went for a walk to look at a house I saw on Craig'sList in Oak Square. It was pretty nice, but too expensive. There are some pups in Brighton Center on Sunday afternoon.

I always feel nervous that people will see me taking pictures of them, so I made AJ stand in front. But then I forgot that I wasn't actually taking a picture of him.


We saw this old timer across from the Brighton post office. He was so sleepy.

A Lackluster week for pups

Yesterday Lisa, Christina and I went on a field trip to the Container Store.


We love the Container Store.

I was hoping to spot some dogs on the way there, but all we saw was this guy:

And some geese over by Longwood:

Xtina says a goose in not a schmood.


We did see this pup at the Container Store though...

...FAKE! (but cute).

Also BonTon now makes biodegradable refill bags for their really cute little dispensers for poop bags- who knew!


On the way back there were some dogs getting walked. I assure you that they were visible to the naked eye.


Then later on I saw this puffy white guy when I was picking up my paycheck from the department, but I didn't get a good pic of him.


Today I went to look at an apartment in Inman Square, and there were alot of dogs in Harvard Square on the way over- but I couldn't take pictures because I was driving, and that is hazardous.

These guys say:

"WHEN DO WE GET A REAL LIFE FRIEND??!?"

Pup scouting on Newbury Street

I went down to Copley to get coffee with AJ this afternoon, and then I walked back along Newbury St, which is a prime dog-spotting location.
This time I had a little more nerve, and so I asked people if I could take pictures of them instead of hiding behind bushes, which made for much better pictures. Also it was really nice out, so everyone was in a good mood.
These were the first guys I saw:

I like a Scotty almost as much as a dachshund.


I was trying to figure out how this group fit together:






This guy did a trick!








He was having a training session, so I wasn't allowed to distract him for too long.




This was the first dachshund I have seen on a pup scouting mission. He was tiny and very cute. And he didn't want to look at the camera...

...but then he did.

Playdate with Watson

This afternoon Watson and I went on a playdate. I was going to go somewhere that he could run off the leash, but then we ended up just going over and walking by the river off of Soldier's Field Rd.


He was very excited to go in the car; I discovered that one of the benefits of a small dog is that they don't block your rearview mirror.


Also it is harder for them to drag you through the mud.

There were some rowers on the Charles (obviously).

This girl said Watson was cute:


We saw a little black and white puffy dog that went nutso when he saw Watson, but I didn't take a picture.

I was really tired afterwards, I fell asleep and didn't pick up Lisa to go swimming...oops.
